SONG OF THE WEEK
Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - "Catch The Rainbow"This goes under that classic rock section. But this song has so many opportunity's for incredible memories. *Sigh, if only a big strong man would have me in the back of a van with crazy artwork and a funny smelling blanket under the night sky with this tune playing. I love the entire Album and have for years, but this song just digs into your skull and takes a nap filled with happy dreams.

Need Some Killer Threads?
There really isn't many stores where you can get great quality t-shirts. Especially for girls. Every-time I would like to order a horror t-shirt I have to get a Mens small and get the ol' sewing machine out, or wait months upon months until the store releases girls shirts. so in-case you have had your head in the sand, here are the best places to get Worldwide shipping, that accepts major credit cards and even Paypal. Don't get ripped off from stores that purchase wholesale and sell you something 60% more, get from the source and get quality. After a long time of researching, waiting, disappointment, trial and error - Here is, in order:
The best Horror Thread stores.
1. (There is a reason why this store is Number one)
Rotten Cotton
The reason why Rotten Cotton reigns supreme (and always will) over every other store is that they most likely have what you are looking for. Plus they also sell a lot of things that are T-shirt related such as books, posters etc. of related films. They are massive in the Cult, true crime, exploitation, film and video logo, occult, Italian horror, work shirts, and hoodies selection too, so not everything is just the regular Horror that you see everywhere else. Also the best part is that they sell a range of chick shirts-all the time. It is not seasonal and they have some killer tanks. Just make sure that you get your size correctly. I know that I have had a lot of fun wearing my satanic tank with pride. They also have a section for "Black Devil Doll", probably your best bet on getting a huge range of the best merchandise. There is new stuff coming in all the time, and their prices are really good, they even sell in bulk wholesale for all you stores out there. There is a wait however on shipping, but when it comes down to it - It really is worth it. Great quality prints, originality and some are even double sided.
So if you haven't been there yet, or want to check out some new threads -head on over or you will be missing out on a LOT if you don't!

2. Fright Rags
This store is great for original artwork. I was actually surprised to see a lot of people at horror conventions wear these shirts. I love them for the originality. And best of all - The quality, They print with many vibrant colors, that don't come off easily on the wash. And if you like classic films they have loads of old horror prints. The only let down is that shirts for girls are seasonal and you have to get in quick for their limited editions, and specials. Also, because most designs are from artists and designers and not actually from a film they are pretty limited and sometimes have to be voted back in to be able to be purchased again. They also have hoodies, but there are only a few designs. Worldwide shipping, and if you are not too sure on the size charts you can send them an e-mail.
So head on over for some original threads.

3. Creepy Tees
The title of the store pretty much tells all. They sell a small range of shirts, but they are very high quality. They don't have that weird box around them or anything like that, and they sell designs that you won't find anywhere else. Sadly there are no female clothing, no paypal, and they just stick to t-shirts, a special edition shot glass, and a '30-years of horror' poster. Still a great store for worldwide sales.

These guys are a pretty small store. But they have prints that you cannot get anywhere else. They have many sizes, the waiting time is average, and they accept Paypal Worldwide. They don't have a female section, and at the moment they only sell T-shirts and posters. So don't go there expecting a large range of items to purchase. The best part about this store though is the shipping costs. So If you are looking for something different, this little store might just have it for you

5. Dead CelebriTee
There are many styles for both guys and girls, plus hats, accessories, totes etc. There is as much horror as there is cult, humor, emo, movie, rockabilly and the online store opened on 26th November in 2010, so it is still new. You pretty much have to have an account to purchase anything, but if you put down your email in the members section an apply form shows up. There are specials, limited editions and even $10 Tees, so its good to check out!

If you want to see something thats not highly seen in movie rental stores, and something not to miss out on.Today's movie is: BEHIND THE MASK : The rise of Leslie Vernon (2006)
PLOT:
The next great psycho horror slasher has given a documentary crew exclusive access to his life as he plans his reign of terror over the sleepy town of Glen Echo, all the while deconstructing the conventions and archetypes of the horror genre for them.
"Oh, how cute - Leslie goes to the Library!"

I dove straight into this movie not knowing what to expect. All I knew is that a lot of people have seen it, my local video store had no idea what I was talking about, it was impossible to find a movie poster for it, and the chick form Home alone stared in it. I never imagined anything like this! It is so well written that you are glued to the screen the whole time, there is no parts where its just the same boring senseless gore and if a Horror movie makes me laugh - then they must have done something right. The acting in it is great, and it really makes it feel like you are part of the action with its reality type camera. Nathan Baesel (stars as Leslie Vernon) plays an incredible part, and in real-life is super hot, yes, it's true! he is even more attractive away form the camera and a really nice guy too so that adds to the magic of cinema, well in some way. I was lucky enough to meet the cast and crew and they were the nicest group of people, they even gave my a free signed poster, and a limited edition rubber heart ( only 20 were made), the writer and director signed that one for me. Don't worry guys, pretty much every female actor in the film is hot, so there is something to look at.
The cameos are worth the watch, ( I won't spoil it for you), but you will manage to point out a few horror stars that light up the film. With great character development, little touch of romantic tension and for this film to be classified under the "Horror" genre makes it a perfect mix and making it The best Horror Mocumentary you will ever see.

HORROR TELEVISION?
The world’s first Television network dedicated to Horror is under construction. I remember when I was a child my older brother told me tales of its great country called “America”, & they were so awesome that they had a channel dedicated to Horror, that was the day that I vowed to visit that grand country one day. All of these years later & I find out what it’s really like, & sadly there is no such thing. A great friend of mine Hart Fisher was over the moon about this last time I saw him, and I can understand why. This is the new revolution for horror, & since I cannot be there for it, I can at least spread the word. This is big, & couldn’t be happening to a more deserving person. So, if you haven’t heard the news, read this note from his Facebook & see what you can do about it:

Hart D. Fisher’s New Television Network & YOU…
by Hart Fisher on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 12:10pm
Last week on Monday I finalized the legal agreements with FilmOn to launch a new television network on their distribution platform as part of their basic cable package. It’s called American Horrors & it just may be America’s ONLY uncut commercially supported television network.
This has been my agenda since the inception of the American Horrors brand. To create, not just some tv show, but to create the MTV of horror, to create a company that will dominate the horror genre in the same way that Disney dominates family entertainment.
That is my goal. That is what I am here to do.
But what’s that got to do with YOU?
This is YOUR opportunity too. I can’t do this in a vacuum. I’m on the hunt for my people, for my team. I’m looking for people that want to win, that want to make the best damn horror movies on the fucking planet. People that are here to PRODUCE something, to CREATE something, leave the talk for somebody else, I’m only looking for doers. This is a brand new tv network. We need reporters & independent producers for our news segments (Real World Horrors), feature length & short length horror films, horror anime, horror themed music videos, if it’s screaming and bloody, we want to talk to you. If you’re a horror creator who’s been slogging away on his youtube series for a few years but has finally decided that you’d actually like to make some money off of your work, hey, we’re looking for broadcast quality horror shows too & we’re cutting our creators in on the ad revenues.

That’s right, we’re giving you a piece of the juicy pie. At American Horrors, we make sure that everyone gets a piece. American Horrors is not a greedy publicly traded corporation. You’re dealing with a person.
There is no committee. No army of managers, lawyers or bean counters making the artistic decisions at American Horrors. The buck stops with one man… ME.
And lemme tellya folks, There is no one alive running a horror company like moi.
I am one of YOU & I’m here to free the horror fans from the corporate rape they’ve endured for the last two decades as the lawyers & computer sales models dictated what horror movies got made, what got remade… I’ve got 20 plus years in this industry producing some of the most extreme, boundary pushing material the industry had ever seen. I’ve lived a life of horror, I’ve gone to the wall for the first amendment, bleeding hard for it. I’ve worked in nearly every end of the industry, from advertising, graphic design, ad copy writing, sales, printing, publishing, distribution, camera man, photoshop artist, motion logo designer, producer, still photographer, video editor, owning & running a post production company… when it comes to real world skills & experience, I bring serious weight to the game.
The question on my mind is, WTF are you gonna do about it?Are you going to get involved? Help spread the word?
I need volunteers, I need promotions people, street teams, video watchers to help me find cool horror movies & cool horror shorts, I need help finding the bloodiest horror music videos that would NEVER see the light of day on MTV…
The Real World Horror Revolution is here. I’m asking you to be a part of it. Our office phone is 323 474-6963. If you get the answering machine, TALK TO IT. We’re busy as hell over here, watching movie subs, contracts, talking to advertisers, product placement people, it’s hectic crazy busy. So leave the message, have a little patience.
For submissions, email us at submissions@americanhorrors.com to reach me, hart@americanhorrors.com or check my facebook page.
Don’t blow up my phone looking for money for your great new show idea. We’re not financing new productions at THIS time, right now it’s all about our network launch, & at this moment in time, we need finished content. All movie submissions should be sent to: American Horrors, 911 N. Ave 57, Los Angeles, CA 90042.
