SONG OF THE WEEK
Walk on Water - "Ozzy"
Traveling around the Country side of America really reminded me of the "Bevis and Butt-head do America soundtrack", and it really tied in nicely driving fast past sheriffs, chasing tumbleweed and marveling at "Do not pick up hitchhikers due to correctional Facility" signs. Besides Ozzzy rocks, and for this- We salute you this week!

Rob Zabrecky debuts a full-length, one-man variety show quite unlike any other. He will present highlights from his award-nominated Magic Castle act, song & dance, conversations with outmoded satellites, audience interaction, parapsychology, and more. Zabrecky's multitude of creative lives have established him globally as a musician, magician, and actor, dating back to his early 90s days as a front man for Silverlake art-popsters, Possum Dixon. MAGIC Magazine raved, "Zabrecky's magic could easily be the plot line of a Stephen King novel, if Stephen King wrote comedy." An evening of cross-polinated magic and reverie from one of LA's most fascinating natives.
With Special Guests Imaginary Bear (featuring Tanya Haden & Sara Trussell), and music by Liberty Larsen & Shayne Eastin.

If you want to see something that's not highly seen in movie rental stores, and something not to miss out on.
Today's movie is: Eat and Run (1986)
PLOT:
A 400 lb alien visitor to New York City find that he likes to eat Italian...people. It's up to a clever detective to put a stop to his monstrous appetite
BASICS:
It's a lowbrow science fiction comedy with Aliens, a detective and kooky piano music. Yeah- You will love this one!
"Bored tonight?- Watch a fat guy Get Crabs!"
The fact that the whole movie is over-acted and makes fun of the whole film nior thing makes it a classic !(Ron Silver narrates out loud to himself during the movie and other characters occasional complain and ask him to stop). He also refers to his girlfriend, the judge, as "your honor darling". This apparently doesn't make the cut to real critics out there and is called an "airplane" rip-off. I just don't see that connection-this is about A cannibalistic alien who likes Italian food.
Apparently this is bad for children to watch unsupervised. I don't know about you but wouldn't you at least read what this is about before babysitting your kids with a b-grade movie? Just put on 'Bambi' and don't whinge about it. I was watching horror and b-grade films before I was 3 years old. They didn't bother me, and only made me awesome. You can complain about making kids watch movies like this if you are stupid enough not to know anything about it.

This is also a film easily to be found, I managed to pick up a dvd copy in a cheap store in Australia for only $2, they list them on amazon and eBay really cheaply too. And they are good quality.
There is no reason to hate this film, just watch and enjoy. Make a night of it or even marathon it watching this and "Microwave Massacre" back to back and see how much fun you can have!

"Good thing he didn't have a craving for Chinese"
The sad thing about this film is that it is Highly Under-rated. Pat Ryan rocks hardcore! If you recognize him, it's probably from "The Toxic Avenger" as Mayor Belgoody or other TROMA films such as 'Class of Nuke e'm high' or even 'Street Trash'. He has the kind of loveable face that you have to laugh with. This is Pat's only substantial starring role as the cannibalistic humanoid extraterrestrial Murray Creature in "Eat and Run" Sadly Pat Ryan died of a heart attack on March 22, 1991. He could have been the next John Candy."Heres lookin' at you, Kid"
Best served with friends and even a beer or smoke or two. If all at you are at the point at not laughing within half an hour- then chances are the rest wont be funny. Have an open mind and honestly - this film is a lot of fun
- So go and see it
