Quickly becoming established in the UK Rock 'n' Roll clubs, The Blackcat Trio show us what they're made of on this debut CD release.

It's the classic Rockabilly sound throughout, varied by covering 50s legends (Carl Perkins, Johnny Powers) or more modern bands (Stray Cats, Go Cat Go).  Some songs mix in Blues Bop, some are from the more Country side of Rockabilly, and some are just straight ahead Rock 'n' Roll.

SPO-DEE-O-DEE was fount in late 1994 in Braunschweig,Germany and in no time recorded a demo (all members had played in other bands before) in a distinctive vintage mid 1950 s sound that got them a record contract with the legendary TAIL RECORDS Label in Sweden.Here they recorded an EP and their first LP HIGH VOLTAGE.By that time they were along with label mates Wild Fire Willie and Rilley Mc Owen one of the very few "Authentic" Rockabilly Bands and soon played  all over Europe where they gathered a big fan base.The next career step came in 1996,when the Japanese ON THE HILL  Label released the 1st SPO-DEE-O-DEE Record in a long string of releases on their label,a EP called WILD,WILD CHICK. This record was such a break thru for the band that they now for the first time toured in the USA.Since than the Band  toured no less than 6 times in America + a one off Show at the 1st GREENBAY Rock n Roll Fest,opened up for Ronnie Dawson  in LA,rocked twice in Hemsby, once at the Rave and played every festival on the globe one could think of.
