Undertaker News: Dead Babies found in Coolers

Dead babies found in coolers in Germany

16:30 AEDT Thu Apr 26 2012

German prosecutors said Wednesday they have opened a probe following the grisly discovery of three dead babies in an apartment block and garage rented out to a 40-year-old woman.

Prosecutors and police in the western town of Giessen said two of the small corpses were found Tuesday in camping coolers in the basement of the apartment block during the clearing out of a flat that had been rented to the woman.
A third was found on Wednesday in another cooler in a garage used by her.
"The investigating authorities hope to clarify the exact circumstances of death with an autopsy," police and prosecutors said in a joint statement.
"Only then will it be possible to provide information on the sex, age, time of death and possibly the cause of death."
A spokeswoman for the local prosecutor's office told AFP that as of late Wednesday no arrest warrant had been issued for the woman.
Germany has witnessed several similar cases in recent years, most notably a woman on the Polish border who was jailed for 15 years in 2006 for killing eight of her newborn babies and hiding the remains in flower pots and a fish tank.

How to Make: Day Of The Dead Planters

Day Of The Dead Planters- Tutorial

I loved these so much and had a lot of fun making my own that I had to share. My succulents look amazing in these. I usually paint my pots, but after seeing this idea I knew that I had to bring it to life..

You will need:
Terracotta planters
Acrylic paints
Paint Brushes
Pencil
Spray gloss
Any Plant of your choice

How to make Day Of The Dead planters

1. Sketch your design onto a terra cotta pot. you can leave the pot natural coloured or give it a base coat of white paint. I chose to give both my pots a white base coat.

2. Add colorful designs and use a black paint or a black marker to add swirly curly cues. You can also Paint the outline of the design and then fill in the middle with colours. If you are confident with your painting you can also try painting the colours first.

3. Keep adding detail as you go along. Sugar skulls look great with diamonds, hearts, flowers and swirls…

 4. Spray your finished planters with enamel gloss to protect the paint.

Pot your plants. I used succulents, but marigolds would be great too.  Marigolds are also known as Flor de Muerto (“Flower of the Dead”) which are thought to attract souls of the dead to the offerings (or altars).

SONG OF THE WEEK

45 Grave- "Party Time" return of the Living Dead Version

In 1985, a new, heavier version of "Party Time" was featured on the soundtrack to the film Return of the Living Dead along with tracks by bands such as T.S.O.L. and The Cramps.
The band reformed in 1988 for a brief tour, which was recorded and released as Only the Good Die Young. However. when Ritter died in 1990 from an accidental drug overdose, the band broke up once again.

DNA: Code Flesh (Part I) is on sale at only $1.39
What it's all about: For years the planet was run by the New World Order, but not to its liking. After mandating the use of death row and life sentenced inmates as subjects in scientific experiments, the NWO has decided to tighten its grip through its greatest political decision. However, the experiment backfires, leaving the world in the middle of a war stuck in the middle of another war.
Two of those combatants, Bridjett and Shad Alexi, siblings, torn apart by different allegiances both work to find the common ground amidst a war that will soon grow beyond the parameters anyone would have ever imagined.
Having contaminated the "cocktail" used to keep prisoner test subjects, or SCRATS, alive, the NWO hoped to create an army purely under its command. Little did they know the "cocktail" would turn thousands of SCRATS into zombies and lead to a worldwide epidemic of undead walking the earth.

Undertaker News: Cannibal Pastry Treats

Brazil killers sold flesh of their victims
14:49 AEDT Sun Apr 15 2012

Horror crime: Jorge da Silveira and wife Isabel allegedly killed three women they considered 'evil', and cooked their flesh into empanadas they sold to neighbours. Picture: AFP Source: AFP

Three people accused of killing at least three women in the northeastern Brazilian state of Pernambuco said they ate some of their victims' flesh and also used it to make the empanadas (stuffed pastry) they sold to their neighbours, police say.

The accused, a man and two women, were arrested Wednesday in Garanhuns, 234km from Recife, the state capital, and said they belonged to a sect that received orders from a "voice" to do away with women they considered evil.
The suspects confessed to the homicides, cannibalism and grisly rituals during police interrogations, some details of which were released at a press conference on Friday by the officer leading the investigation, Democrito de Oliveira.

Police found the mortal remains of the two women in the patio of the suspects' house, which was burned down on Thursday by their enraged neighbours.
Investigations of the three began last month after Jorge Beltrao Negromonte da Silveira, 51, identified himself as the author of a 2009 book, Revelations of a Schizophrenic, in which he gave details of the supposed sect's activities.

Along with Da Silveira, police arrested his wife, Isabel Cristina Oliveira da Silva, and his 25-year-old mistress Bruna Cristina Oliveira da Silva, who lived with the couple.
Also living at their house was a five-year-old girl, suspected to be the daughter of Jessica, a 17-year-old murdered in 2008 in the Recife suburb of Olinda.
Jessica's death is described in detail in Da Silveira's book.

"Looking at the now lifeless body of the evil adolescente, I feel relieved. I grab some sheet metal and begin to remove all the skin and then I divide her up...we dine on the flesh of evil as a purification ritual. We bury the remainder in the patio," one chapter in the book reads.
Besides Jessica and the two women found buried in the patio where the accused lived, police are investigating the three for their possible guilt in at least five other homicides in Pernambuco.

Jim "The Dragon" Kelly - Down Under 2012

James M. "Jim" "The Dragon" Kelly (born May 5, 1946) is an American athlete, actor, and martial artist who came to prominence in the early 1970s. He is best known from his performance as Williams in the 1973 Bruce Lee film "Enter the Dragon".

What an honor to meet such a wonderful man, The first thing he asked was what my name was and was glad to shake my hand, (Like any celebrity gives a crap about who you are),
Dressing in my 70's threads was also a bonus, I got to spin out jive words with the dragon!
Jim: "Are you into Martial Arts?"
Me: "Unfortunately No, But I wish I was"
Jim: " That's alright, You're very beautiful, you can do a lot of things"
Me: "thank you, can I get a hug"
Jim:"Of course!"
*hugs

This is when he is talking about setting Goals, The middle picture is when Jim is describing the little joke that Bruce lee is famous for and he used to play it with Jim.
(Bruce Lee could snatch a dime off a person's open palm before they could close it, and leave a penny behind.)
I had NO Idea what to take to get singed, so I whipped this little number up the night before

I managed to practically hang out with him all day, he is the kind of guy that loves to talk about anything, One thing that I love (Besides the fact that he is not old and washed up) is that he loves kids and has a lot of pride in himself. Jim is the kind of role model that you can look up to, and I can clearly see that he must have had someone like that in his life to have such determination. Jim would prefer to spend time in a Tojo then to go out on dates with hot chicks and sit around on weekends drinking. In all honesty I understand completely because one you get lazy or relax a bit from a goal, you tend to lose it all together. And you would not know from meeting him how old he really is, this guy still holds onto respecting himself without being stuck up (name one person in Hollywood today that can do that!).  He doesn't like to sell-out, get involved with ridiculous films that rip on the 70's and martial arts genre and always puts his word out to:

"Set a goal, and work at it. It doesn't matter what it is if it's martial Arts or anything that you want it to be, but work hard at your goal and you can achieve your dream"

What's Jim's favorite Film of his?:
The Tattoo Connection, He also loves Enter the Dragon for the experiences he had ( being in China for 3 months instead of the Planned 3 weeks and working with Bruce Lee), and also likes Melinda because it's the film that launched his career.

Here is a little trivia for you:
In "Enter the Dragon" John Saxon was so big at the time with many films under his belt that there was no way that the director was going to let his character die, so they had to give that away to Jim and make it pretty bad too to make up for it.

Q&A VIDEO
I managed to grab some footage from the Q&A , unfortunately there was a time limit to where perhaps important questions could have been asked instead of long, repetitive stuttering from people asking questions not even related to anything. Still it was a blast to meet him, hang out and get a real insight on one of the worlds greatest Martial Artists and top Blaxploitation icons!
I would have uploaded these as HD, but it would taken days to upload, Youtube just isn't the same anymore. If you really want them in full HD glory, just e-mail me and I can send them to you.. Enjoy:)

    • Loads of laughs as we look back to a time when Sci-Fi movies were something the whole family could watch and enjoy

Tell me more, like where did Con 9 come from???
Con 9 From Outer Space grew out of a dissatisfaction with the way Science Fiction conventions (cons) have developed in recent years. Those based around Media had eschewed most of the traditional con trappings and became either expensive seminars with guests from TV shows/movies, or large scale exhibitions with lots to see yet lacking the camaraderie and intimacy of the older style cons. Those based around literature still followed the traditional con pattern, but were geared very much towards “Speculative Fiction” and had little to entice the Movie & TV buff.
We put together a list of all the things we wanted to see and could squeeze into an event of feasible size and budget, and Con 9 is the result. As the title suggests it’s based around the sort of "B" Sci-Fi movies that Deadly Earnest might have screened on TV in the 1960’s. This is a very familiar genre which many of us grew up on and love, but which has not really been covered before at Australian Sci-Fi events.
At Con 9 you'll get to enjoy rekindling your love of classic Sci-Fi with likeminded enthusiasts at an entry price you won’t have to mortgage the house for.
In the immortal words of Criswell the Seer...
