DIRTY CHAPTERS

It's that fast Thrash Metal Punk that sets the mood and and gets the party started. The fast, loud and hard punk band formed in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia manages to hit it hardcore. And with Free Stickers- I love stickers!!

THE CLOWNS

Jumping, thrashing, pogo action - It's classic Punk at it's finest!

When these guys came on stage, I only thought to myself that they will be a typical garage band to warm up the next act, as like many I have seen in the past. But they blew my mind away! Highly paced, energetic and a total blast to see! It's this scene that I live for - an amazing band with the tunes that scream into you head and make you thrash yourself around the room. Highly exceeding any expectations from any music lover, or just the kind of person out to see great entertainment.
The best part of their set was when the lead singer jumped high from the stage and began to thrash around the audience. I was lucky enough to be the only one there to grab a photo of it (Scroll down to the pictures of the hardcore night). It's not every night that you can see something like this and Melbourne has a lot of talent out there, you just have to go underground to see it.
I honestly will keep a very sharp eye out for any albums being released and keep you all posted, but they are the kind of band that you can get merchandise from to take home and share with friends, so far they have T-shirts, and 7" for sale that you can pick up at a gig for a great price. If you have the opportunity to see The Clowns - my advice to you is to take it, jump on it and pogo the night away!

LIQUOR SNATCH

Labeled as the "queens of Queer Punk", this 4-piece all girl band really know how to live up to their name and play "100% DIRTY CUNT PUNK ROCK!"

 The theme of the band is unlike another, and Australia should be proud to have such a unique gem!
The highlight of the night goes all out to their version of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", with lyrics such as "I just want you to lick my fucking pussy", this one goes up as the best Cyndi Lauper parody/cover I have ever witnessed in my life, and would gladly pay to own it on CD, or to see it performed live again. Not only does Liquor Snatch have an amazing punk lesbian theme, but their wild and dirty style projects out one amazing sound unlike any other.
Just the name of the band is something not to be sniffed at with humorous and intelligent classic punk title that lets the world now that punk is still alive and it has a killer pussy!
Seriously, see this band for the sheer sake of witnessing the only queer punk band that will have you screaming for more!
