The Poor:The Poor (formerly The Poor Boys) are an Australian hard rock band that formed in the mid-1980s in Darwin, (Northern Territory). During the band's prime, they opened for such bands as The Angels, Alice In Chains, AC/DC, Suicidal Tendencies,KISS, Scorpions , W.A.S.P and Van Halen. Tonight they opened for ZZTop. They were the perfect opening act, they could rock hard, hold a screaming metal note and really blended in.
Best Performed Song: "Dirty Money"

Rose Tattoo:
Making the audience scream for more, and photographers out of the cage, Rose Tattoo was one big surprise. Some people ere only there to see them, and to see
Angry Anderson, one massive Australian Icon perform, spit and cry out lyrics on stage. Their sound is heavy metal mixed with blues rock influences, with songs including "Bad Boy for Love", "Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw", "Nice Boys", "We Can't Be Beaten" and "Scarred for Life". The best part about the show- Seeing white haired grandparents rock out, without earmuffs, earplugs or complaints - front row rockers!
Best Performed Song: "Juice on the loose" & "Texas"

ZZ Top:
Opening with "Got me Under Pressure" That Little Ol' Band from Texas blew Melbourne away. With in-synced moves, extraordinary guitar solos, a tribute to Australia, girls on stage to pass over a Blues Hat, spinning-rims drum kit and electrifying blues-based boogie rock. ZZ Top Really knew how to put on a great show.
After an anticipating long 4 -hour wait in line, arguments with security and one bad back - I managed to get front-row-center, Head of the crowd rockin' in the pit. The best part- I got The Lucky Guitar Pick. Apparently its extremely rare to get one, and Billy only gives out one per show to a specially selected person. The guy standing next to me has been to 6 concerts and offered to buy it from me, sorry but something this special will always be with me. I wasn't allowed to video anything, But i still managed to get over an hour of footage so you can see some video highlights, I was so close I grabbed over 200 amazing photos. There was a fake bottle of Jack Daniels on stage (but they only drank water) Billy picked it up and threw it away, spinning his guitar around to show the word "BEER". They told the crowd how proud of the AFF they were and the patches are from their high School, then he mentioned how great is was to "Know how to Grow things", and pulled out a funny looking cigarette. They Have been doing tours to Australia for 4 decades, so if you haven't been yet get out there- because you really have been missing out on a great show.
Best Performed Song: "Legs" & "Sharp Dressed Man"
